Who doesn’t like candies or dulces🍬; that sweet and sugary confection that people of all ages, cultures, and upbringings irresistibly crave and cannot live without.🤩 Born and raised in a Latino household that irresistible craving for dulces took on a very peculiar twist from a very young age with the introduction of el chile 🌶  or that spicy addition that is a big part of many household kitchens in the Latino culture. 

What do you call that confection created when you mix dulces and chile? Dulces Enchilados! 🥳 An odd to some but very satisfying, almost addictive twist to a candy mixed with spicy flavors of chile spice ranging from mild spicy yet sweet, to spicy, to the other extreme of pure fire in your mouth burning hot 🥵  

The idea of Spice Labs Candy was created reminiscing on our childhood years and our naughty or travieso kid 😈 like fascination as we experimented with different intensities and flavors of dulces enchilados ranging from tamarindo and chamoy based chewy candy to the dry spice Lucas and powder chili spice covered Vero lolly pop and gummy types. Here at Spice Labs Candy, we aspire to bring out that travieso inner child in all of us as we experiment with different types of spice intensities to create that perfect blend that we are certain will satisfy even the most uniquely particular sweet and spice craving for dulces enchilados. So whether you are more of the saucy type with a sour, yet slightly sweet blend or more of the dry spice covered candy type, the one thing clear Is that no particular type or intensity is the norm. We know that no two sweet and spicy cravings are created equal, they are ever changing, always evolving like they always were as a kid, and we are here to make only the mere attempt to satisfy them all with our experimental spicy selection of Dulces Enchilados and Chamoy Candy. 🙏🏾😀

With Spice Labs Candy we would like to first and foremost pay homage to our Latino culture, our warm people, our roots and it’s wonderful traditions from a kid's perspective growing up. With that in mind, we would like to share a spicy piece of our cultural upbringing and tradition with the world through candy in the form of Dulces Enchilados and Saucy Chamoy Candy. For those new to this oddly eccentric sweet craving we say, Hola y Bienvenido! 😃 We then go on to say, “Don’t be afraid to let out that inner child in you to explore and experiment with our evolving spicy selection.” Who knows, you may just realize that Dulces Enchilados  is just exactly what you have been missing in your life all this time.
